“Together: An Exhibition on Global Development” visits Trent University (Adrianna Sierra,-Arthur:The Peterborough and Trent University Independent Press)
The Together exhibit and the Student Association for International Development (SAID) helped drive the conversation about Canada’s role in the arena of global change during a two day stop at Trent University. International development students were invited to participate in the exhibit and concurrent workshop to engage on the subject of raising awareness about global issues, and examine practical solutions.
“The Together exhibition on global development made a stop Tuesday near the Bata Library at Trent University. The Aga Khan Foundation Canada is touring the Together exhibit across Canada and it will continue to be on display at Trent on Wednesday from 11 to 7 p.m.”
“The “Together” exhibition drove into Windsor on its Canada wide tour at the University of Windsor’s campus and for the Alumni weekend festivities. “Together”, is a custom-built truck with an interactive, bilingual experience for all ages, highlighting Canadian contribution to positive change around the world. Students, faculty and visits hopped into the exhibition and were exposed to powerful photography and film, an interactive world map and a global citizen skills quiz.”
